Power Surge Protection

Power surges are impossible to predict, their causes such as abrupt voltage spikes, electricity provide faults, defective household appliances, and thunderstorms. In some situations, even a small power surge may wreak havoc on your electric systems, damaging them beyond repair.

This excess current is then safely diverted through the excess earth wire, directly into the floor. This prevents more current than ordinary from flowing into your appliances effectively making sure they are protected from any harm which could result from power surges.
